The Club

Our Identity and Mission

The Corfu Equestrian Sports Centre (A.K.I.K.) is a non-profit sports association based in the Municipality of Central Corfu and the Diapontia Islands. It is registered with the Hellenic Equestrian Federation and holds special athletic recognition.

Its main purpose is the systematic cultivation, development, and promotion of horse riding.

The Club trains athletes of all ages and prepares them to compete in official competitions.

It organizes lessons, training sessions, sports divisions, and a Riding Academy, showcasing riding as a noble Olympic sport.

A.K.I.K.'s activities take place at the Equestrian Centre facilities in Kalafationes. The facilities have been operating since 2012, and since 2023 the current management has taken over their organization, upgrading, and further development. The Centre serves approximately 100 children each year, as well as adult riders of varying levels, offering structured training and daily contact with horses and nature.
