Lessons for Children and Adults

The Riding Academy is the core educational program of A.K.I.K. It offers structured lessons for children and adults, from a first introduction to the horse through to developing well-rounded riding skills.

The choice of horse and the content of each lesson are adapted to the rider's age, physical build, experience, and needs.

Training follows a gradual progression. New riders get comfortable with the horse, learn how to approach and care for it, become familiar with basic riding equipment, and develop their first skills in balance, correct posture, and control. As they progress, they move on to more complex exercises, refine their technique, and build genuine communication with the horse.

  • balance and coordination
  • focus and self-control
  • consistency and responsibility
  • confidence
  • respect for animals and nature
  • cooperation and sportsmanship

Training is conducted in a safe, enjoyable way suited to each child's age. Students gradually take part in caring for the horse as well, so they come to understand that riding is built on a relationship of trust and responsibility.

Lessons for Adults

Adult lessons are aimed at beginners who want to try riding for the first time, riders returning to the sport, and more experienced participants looking to refine their technique. The program is shaped around each rider's pace and goals. It includes training in correct position, balance, controlling the horse's movements, and the gradual development of confidence and independence.
