The Club
An organized equestrian space set in the natural landscape of Corfu
The facilities of the Corfu Equestrian Sports Centre are located in Kalafationes, set within a lush, peaceful natural environment a short distance from the city of Corfu. The forest, dense vegetation, and natural trails create a unique setting for athlete training, horse exercise, and connecting both children and adults with nature.
The facilities have been operating since 2012 and span an area of 31 stremmata (roughly 7.7 acres).
Since 2023, they have been systematically developed with the goal of creating a model athletic and educational equestrian centre for Corfu and the Ionian Islands.
The Centre is home to 33 horses, including the Centre's own horses and privately owned horses stabled on-site. Each year it serves approximately 100 children, as well as adult riders of varying levels.
The Centre holds all required operating licenses. The facilities support the Riding Academy, lessons for children and adults, training sessions, competitive preparation, inclusive riding, horse boarding, summer programs, and the Club's educational and social activities.
